Participation in the Congress of Endocrinology in Turkey

PERdire project participants Zane Svikle and Jeļizaveta Sokolovska participated in the 25th European Congress of Endocrinology, which took place in Istanbul, Turkey from May 13-16.

During the congress was presented an abstract "Association between advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and diabetic retinopathy in Latvia", which presents the results of the study "Integrated model for screening and monitoring of diabetic retinopathy using risk-stratification and artificial intelligence-based automated fundus image analysis ( PerDiRe)" (project no. EEA-RESEARCH-60) results.

The results were discussed with other representatives of the field and members of Congress.
