Integrated model for personalized diabetic retinopathy screening and monitoring using risk-stratification and automated AI-based fundus image analysis – PerDiRe, ID No.: EEA-RESEARCH-60, is one of the Baltic Research Programme’s projects, which is financially supported by the European Economic Area (EEA) Grants. The project is developed in cooperation with the University of Oslo, University of Tartu and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. The goal of the project is to "implement a new personalized diabetic retinopathy screening and monitoring programme using artificial intelligence (AI) for future applications in the integrated care of patients with diabetes". The implementation of the project started on 1 May 2021, furthermore until 2024 and available total funding is EUR 1 000 000. This project is co-financed by the European Economic Area Financial Instrument for 2014–2021.
